My number one priority this year is to get organized. For me, disorganization = stress and the amount of clutter in my house is causing me a lot of unnecessary anxiety! To help get rid of my extra “stuff,” I have decided to embark on the 40 Bags in 40 Days Challenge.
The purpose of the 40 Bags in 40 Days Challenge is to declutter and organize your home in 40 days. You will usually hear people talking about this challenge during Lent, but since part of my New Year’s Resolution is to get more organized, I have decided to start it now!
How to participate:
- Every day during the next 40 days fill a bag (big or small) with items that you no longer need
- Your discarded items can be either thrown away or donated
- Enjoy your clutter-free home
Since I have trouble sticking to resolutions, I made a list of things I will work on each day. Hopefully, this will help keep me on track and help me from becoming overwhelmed!
So, who is in it with me? Let’s support each other and help keep each other motivated to be clutter-free in 2012!
